The Darkness – Every Inch Of You

Glam-rock band, The Darkness appeared to the world in 2003 with Permission to Land album and the super hit single I Believe In A Thing Called Love. Things were going well until after their second album, One Way Ticket To Hell…And Back. Then, lead singer Justin Hawkins was admitted to a rehabilitation clinic.

Back in his track, it was time for the reunion. Every Inch Of You is the first single from Hot Cakes, release after seven years from their second album.

The Bloody Beetroots – Rocksteady

The Bloody Beetroots is a project by an italian duo formed by Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo and Tommy Tea in 2006. They often have other members joining them, Battle on drums and Dennis Lyxzén on vocals. When the four are together they call themselves The Bloody Beetroots Death Crew 77 and wear Venom masks while performing their heavy e-punk songs.

Rocksteady is the seventh single and was released this year along with several remixes in an EP. They are working on their fourth studio album (the third was a remix album). They released EP Cornelius in 2010 which was a selling success in iTunes because album was a complete art project composed of music, videos, and fashion with exclusive limited T-Shirts. Pretty awesome!

Two Door Cinema Club – Sleep Alone

Two Door Cinema Club is a trio indie rock band from Ireland formed in 2007. They made such success in MySpace page, that they gave up universities gigs to work in studio and released an EP so well received by critic that they started working at their debut album 5 months later in London and Paris. That’s how Tourist History was made featuring What You Know, Undercover Martyn and Something Good Can Work.

On September the 4th the new album will be released, Beacon. Sleep Alone was already released as lead single, but yesterday the videoclip premiere on YouTube. So, enjoy the incredible material of fucking awesome Two Door Cinema Club.

Amanda Mair – Sense

Amanda Mair just turn 18 years old the day she released her debut album last June. This girl from Sweden was discovered by Labrador Records because of her MySpace account in 2010. Now, they must be happy with the results. In her country, she’s already a success and soon the world will be able to.

Amanda Mair started some gigs while underage in some clubs. Her parents took her and stayed for the show, later she attended Rytmus Musikergymnasiet, a music school in Stockholm.

The Asteroids Galaxy Tour – Major

The Asteroids Galaxy Tour came out in 2008 with lot of grooves and moves. The Sun Ain’t Shining No More and Around The Bend put the danish band in the known. A year later they released Fruit, debut album and started touring around the world. Their psychedelic-groovy-acidjazz-indie-pop is what this blog is all about. The vocalist Mette Lindberg is very energetic.

The band supported Amy Winehouse with only 2 rehearsals after put the band together and toured with Katy Perry in Europe. Their tracks were featured in Apple‘s comercial , TV Show theme, a lot of TV shows scenes and other promotions and ads. Spotify has a exclusive acoustic album with awesome versions for 3 tracks.
