After Greta Morgan put The Hush Sound on hiatus, she went to California in search for inspiration. A year later, in 2009, she got back to Chicago and put together a new project called Gold Motel. Now they released their second studio album bringing a soft and nice indie rock tracks mixing male and female vocals.
Gold Motel work has been recognized while touring with bands like Family of the Year, Skybox, Mark Rose, hellogoodbye, Steel Train, besides played at South By Southwest and Lollapalooza music festivals in 2011 making Surf in LA a famous first single for them.
