Perfume Genius – Normal Song

Perfume Genius is a project by solo artist Mike Hadreas. He started composing after he moved from New York to a small town in Washington. Maybe he got bored and in 2008 he created a MySpace account. In 2010, Perfume Genius had the album Learning released and in the next year toured with Beirut.

Last february Put Your Back N 2 It was released with a controversial promotional video banned from YouTube featuring a porn actor and Mike himself hugging each other.

But his experimental acoustic/indie material and powerful lyrics have a lot of good reviews and we have to say too: he is very good!

Gossip – Move In The Right Direction

Gossip, like Facebook, dropped the “The” and just released their new album A Joyful Noise. Famous for the past singles Standing In The Way Of Control and Heavy Cross, the band is now more electronic-synthpop with the new single Move In The Right Direction.

Beth Ditto continues to deliver awesome vocals that you just can not get sick of it. Started as a indie rock band in 1999 in Washington, Gossip already toured with Cindy Lauper, Erasure, CSS, Mika and Scissor Sisters and now they’re touring on their own around Europe, where they are more popular.
